Residents and neighbours

The network is for people in Hampshire, East and West Sussex and the Isle of Wight who would rather get ready now. Membership is free.

Members are people on the same streets who have done the basics at home, a few days of water and food, a torch, a way to cook and keep warm, and who know each other's names before anything happens.

The network meets in person. Members hear first about local exercises and briefings, and about anything the resilience forum puts out for community groups.

South Coast Civil Resilience is independent and civilian. In an emergency, call 999. The network sits alongside the emergency services and the local resilience forums for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight and for Sussex, so that when the services are stretched, people already know who is near them.
